Next Stop: The Top of Mount Everest

Oh, what big eyes you have!

After taking careful notes watching his brother get into this chair he was ready to climb on in. Somehow this sweet little 10 month old squirmed his baby booty into the seat. He was so proud of himself that he insisted on being photographed to celebrate his success.
(I would've taken pics of the ascent, but I was too busy making sure the little guy didn't tip the chair over while he was standing and jumping in it!)

KC from the Sky

Downtown Airfields

For Aijalon's 3rd Birthday we decided to take him on a helicopter tour of Kansas City. It is an interesting vantage point, so close yet so far from the ground. At over 100 mph we zipped from one end of the city to the other, touring the stadiums, Nelson, Plaza, Loose Park, and all of downtown in a bright red whirly-bird.
He loved it!

Welcome to Munchkin Land

❝We represent...❞

Even with a copious amount of gel and hairspray Aijalon's hair only made it for the first couple of houses.

I was Glinda, I love the family costumes❣
Due to poor Baby Z's teething his lapel got a little soggy:)

We took the boys to a very hilly neighborhood that was packed with other "ghoulies" of the night.
Z spent the night on daddy's shoulders surveying the scene and of course cracking himself up. (The kid loves to laugh.)
Aijalon and I hit all the houses we could before our sugar buzz wore off. We ended up with a fair amount of candy and enough Halloween fun to last us till next year.
Happy Halloween!

KC Zoo

Of course the boys love the zoo. Aijalon loves to mimic all the animals and it cracks Zion up to see his brother so animated. This stage is my favorite part of the zoo, its the best spot for us all to take a break. And for me to snap some pics.

Everyone's favorite new seat

When I found this chair at a thrift store that we frequent it was ❤ at first sight. Within moments of its placement it became the hottest spot for a photo op.

A Three Hour Tour....

Something naturally draws my boys to trains. And I have to admit, after our ride in vintage railcars I'm slightly smitten myself. The weather just recently gave way to fall temperatures and cruising down the line with all the windows open was soothing. Even after what we thought was a 45 minute trip turned into a three hour tour everyone was still smiling.
